Coach Christina

Head Coch
Instructor

Christina is heading into her 9th year of coaching! She got a later start in the sport of gymnastics at the age of 11 and competed for 4 years. She also competed in a year of All-star Cheer, as well as played 5 different sports throughout college. She has noticed that no matter what she is doing in life, she has always found her way back to coaching. It Is truly one of her greatest passions! She has coached kids of all ages and abilities and loves teaching physical skills as well as skills they can carry with them outside of the gym! We are very excited to have her as a part of our Pooler Cheer Team!

Coach Bridgett

CO-Founder
Instructor

Coach Bridgett is a wife, mom of four kids and two pups, lifelong cheerleader, and passionate educator with a heart for helping kids grow in confidence and reach their goals. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and spent 17 wonderful years teaching in the classroom. Today, she combines her background in education with her love for movement by coaching tumbling and cheer at Pooler Cheer. She also enjoys working with Pooler Cheer’s homeschool tumbling class, where she gets to create a fun, supportive environment for kids to learn, grow, and shine. Cheer and dance were a huge part of her life growing up, and it’s such a joy to pass that experience on to the next generation. She also trains in Krav Maga, which fuels her belief in strength—inside and out—and helps her stay focused and driven. Outside of coaching, she loves exploring new places, soaking in different cultures, and making memories through travel. Music is also a big part of who she am—whether it’s a favorite playlist on a road trip, playing the keys, or dancing in the kitchen with her kids, it brings energy and joy to her everyday life. Whether she is coaching, teaching, traveling, or cheering on her own kids, her mission is simple: to help young people believe in themselves, build resilience, and discover just how capable they really are.

Shannon specializes in yoga instruction, as well as helping athletes improve their flexibility, strength, and body alignment. Whether it’s through guided stretching or focused strengthening exercises, she love supporting our cheerleaders in becoming more confident and capable in both body and mind. She lives in Guyton with her husband and their energetic son, who trains in jiu jitsu, Krav Maga, and tumbling right here at Pooler Karate. When they are not at the gym or studio, they are enjoying life on their little farm with 3 dogs, a cat, 4 fish, and a flock of 24 lively chickens. She is excited to help our athletes grow stronger, more balanced, and ready to shine on and off the mat!

Coach Heather

CO-Founder
Instructor

Heather has been working with the Pooler Cheer program for about 2 years. She did 3 years of gymnastics, so she mostly coaches during our tumbling program. Heather takes pride in her Mexican American heritage as she is one of our Spanish speaking Instructors. She is also a Karate Instructor and is currently training for her 2nd Degree Black Belt. She loves working with kids because they are adorable and she loves to see the spark in their eyes when they learn a new skill or see something exciting. She just recently graduated high school and says that “although sometimes I may feel like I have nothing left to learn, the kids always find a way to teach me something new. It warms my heart to see the future generations become better people, cheerleaders, and gymnasts that I ever was.”
