Coach Christina

Instructor

Christina is heading into her 9th year of coaching! She got a later start in the sport of gymnastics at the age of 11 and competed for 4 years. She also competed in a year of All-star Cheer, as well as played 5 different sports throughout college. She has noticed that no matter what she is doing in life, she has always found her way back to coaching. It Is truly one of her greatest passions! She has coached kids of all ages and abilities and loves teaching physical skills as well as skills they can carry with them outside of the gym! We are very excited to have her as a part of our Pooler Cheer Team!

Coach Chelcie

Chelcie is extremely excited to be assisting Christina this year in building and directing the Pooler Cheer program! She has 20 years of experience with acrobatics and dance choreography. After touring the nation for 15 years with various cirque and stunt shows, she is now happily living in her hometown of Savannah as her little ones start school and their life adventures begin. She has 6 years of teaching experience, and she is very passionate about helping kids find confidence in themselves. She is a team USA national gold medalist and has led 15 girls to also become champions as well.  She believes that with the right support, encouragement, and techniques there is nothing these unbelievable kids can’t do!

Coach Bella

CO-Founder
Instructor

Bella is 14 years old and has been doing cheer and tumbling for 12 years. She was a  gymnast for many years, but in 2019 found herself on an All-star cheer team, and has been cheering ever since. Cheer has been her life for many years. She loves being able to share her passion with kids and teach them not only to be a good cheerleader, but a hard-working teammate, a loyal friend, and encourage them to be a leader.

Coach Sunny

CO-Founder
Instructor

Coach Sunny was introduced to competitive gymnastics early on in life but later switched to competitive cheerleading due to her love for tumbling. She has played many other sports throughout her life and has always loved working with children. In 2022 she moved from Hawaii to Georgia and is currently in school to become a medical aesthetician. When it comes to coaching, she works very hard to be a safe space for our athletes and wants to teach respect on the mat. Working with so many children with different abilities has inspired her to help them embrace their special talents and skills. As a coach her biggest goal is to send a child off the mat more confident than when they came in, because believing in themselves is the first step to success! She is excited for this upcoming session and can’t wait to work with your kids!

Coach Heather

CO-Founder
Instructor

Heather has been working with the Pooler Cheer program for about 2 years. She did 3 years of gymnastics, so she mostly coaches during our tumbling program. Heather takes pride in her Mexican American heritage as she is one of our Spanish speaking Instructors. She is also a Karate Instructor and is currently training for her 2nd Degree Black Belt. She loves working with kids because they are adorable and she loves to see the spark in their eyes when they learn a new skill or see something exciting. She just recently graduated high school and says that “although sometimes I may feel like I have nothing left to learn, the kids always find a way to teach me something new. It warms my heart to see the future generations become better people, cheerleaders, and gymnasts that I ever was.”
